Concrete resistance tests at NOVIA, Vaasa, Fi

On week 22, Tom Lipkin and Julien Walser prepared the new resistance tests by making a serie of concrete blocks with different binder mixture by using slag (Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag). The compression tests will take place at different interval (1 week, 1 month, 3 months and 1 year) of different storage condition, (in water or outside). Those tests would answer the upcoming questions, it is possible to lower CO₂ emission from concrete by using slag, and what would be the optimized slag quantity? Would there be a difference after one year if the concrete is stored outdoors compared to concrete stored in water?
