First face-to-face meeting for OFFwind partners

On the 14th and 15th of June, the whole OFFwind-team gathered for the first time. Team members from all the organizations participated, from Tampere University, Luleå Tekniska Universitet, SINTEF Narvik, Merinova and Novia University of Applied Sciences. First day we spent in Vaasa discussing the project activities. It was nice to hear about all the researchers expertise and thinking about next steps. Second day we spent in Molpe/Korsnäs. We had a wonderful visit at the wind farm site and Molpehällorna with West Coast Rib Charter. The guide said the sunny calm wheather happens only 5 days a year so we picked the perfect day! The whole event ended with a very nice and informative visit at the Metsähallitus office in Korsnäs. They informed us on the status of the wind farm project with their partner Vattenfall.
